Field notes

We wanted a two-person tent that two people can actually sit up in. The hubbed pole puts the steepest walls at the head end, so the 104 cm peak runs most of the tent’s length instead of rising to a point in the middle.

Each side has its own door and vestibule, which matters more than any weight figure at three in the morning. The fly clips to the pole hub and the corners, so in rain you can pitch the fly first and clip the inner in underneath, dry.

In the box: tent body, fly, pole set, eight stakes, four guylines with tensioners, stuff sack and a pole repair sleeve. The packed weight above includes all of it.
